North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) has close economic ties with the Netherlands and the United States (US). This is especially true for the Green Economy, including water and waste solutions or intelligent GreenTech applications, which is a globally growing economic sector and a growth driver for foreign trade. While the Netherlands is the largest importer of Green Economy products from NRW, the US is the largest importer of Green Economy products worldwide.
For players in this growing market, global trade shows are an important meeting place. IFAT 2024 in Munich is such an event for companies active in the Green Economy markets related to water resources, waste, or raw materials management. Between May 13 and 17, 2024, more than 260 companies from NRW, close to 100 companies from the Netherlands and 38 companies from the United States will exhibit their innovations in Munich. In addition, the show is expected to attract thousands of visitors interested in the latest business opportunities in the Green Economy.
However, it can be difficult to get a clear overview and meet the right people in the hectic environment of a trade show. To promote business opportunities between NRW, the Netherlands, and the US, we offer digital pre-IFAT matchmaking events for companies where you can meet the right people before the show starts. At IFAT itself, we offer you the opportunity to meet your business partners at our booth as well as an international networking event where you can meet business people from global markets.
